Shining a light on the darkness
For decades, religious leaders have been afraid to challenge their congregations
to vote for pro-life candidates. Church leaders have been cowered into
political inaction by their legal advisors - some of whom favor abortion rights.
From the pulpit, less urgent - but still important
- social justice issues have been given higher priority than the lives of the
unborn.
As a result, the faithful have been lulled into inaction and apathy on the
most urgent
issue of our time...
But you can help to change this situation by participating in the Pro-life
Witness project!
The Prolife Witness project is a national grass roots effort designed to inform
the faithful about where political candidates stand on defending the lives of
the unborn - without concern for the IRS, campaign finance laws, or permission
from the churches!
It's also designed to help the faithful give understand how much more urgent the
plight of the unborn is when contrasted with other important social justice,
including - war, famine, health care, and poverty. After all, what
do these matter if one cannot even be born to be concerned about them?
